Steve Webster has extensive knowledge of the wireless industry gained through twelve years of work experience both throughout the US and internationally. His primary career focus has been the RF engineering, implementation and optimization of 2G networks. Steve has worked as an independent consultant as well as an employee of a consulting firm, an operator and most recently as the Vice President – Engineering of the world’s largest owner of radio towers.
Steve Webster is thoroughly knowledgeable of the processes and metrics used to build out and expand wireless networks as well as the various technical and financial trade-offs as carriers expand to 2.5G and 3G technologies. Steve has a thorough and comprehensive knowledge of GSM and CDMA (IS-95) technologies and he is familiar with iDEN.
